Welcome to the home page of the Newport Outdoor Group’s Challenge Walks website.
We now support the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team, in organising two annual challenge walks.
Proceeds from both events go to the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team.
The Black Dragon Challenge (the “BDC”) held in April with 28 mile, 22 mile, and 16 mile route options
The Beat The Beacons Challenge Walk (the “BEAT”) held in September with 22 mile, 15 mile, and 10 mile route options

Entries will be open on the 15th November 2024 for the 2025 Black Dragon Challenge.
